Fifth Corner Group is the ONLY place to call if you are looking to sell your home!! When my husband announced his promotion would mean us locating to Memphis, TN from Baltimore, MD I was completely overwhelmed by all that needed to be done. We had to find a house there, figure out what to do with the house here and everything else in between. I was on the internet looking for assistance when I found Fifth Corner Group’s website—that was what saved me.
After countless phone calls and emails to those “We buy all houses” ads, I was completely discouraged and convinced we would never sell our house here and be able to move on. Unfortunately, because I had to leave my job for this move, our income was cut in half and things were very tight. This all happened at Christmas time! I needed to sell our house in Baltimore in order to do anything in regards to moving only I couldn’t find anyone to help. Then I found Fifth Corner Group. I sent an email inquiry and that was it…Brian Ferguson responded THE SAME DAY! At the time my asking price along with needed repairs was out of the price range they were comfortable with BUT Mr. Ferguson responded to me even though they weren’t going to buy my house and HE EXPLAINED WHY. I was dumbstruck…I couldn’t get anyone else to even respond to me yet this company not only responded but chose to give me the reasons behind their decision. That is not something you get from other companies. With Mr. Ferguson’s explanation, I was able to reevaluate my situation and come up with more suitable terms for everyone. From the moment Fifth Corner Group decided they were interested in my property, my life got easier. They did EVERYTHING!! I didn’t have to deal with any of the ugly real estate red tape. I put everything into their capable hands and was able to concentrate on other things. I didn’t have to pay for anything; all I had to do was wait a short time for everything to fall into places. The process could not have been easier. Throughout the entire buying process, Mr. Ferguson was in contact with me on a daily basis…always keeping me informed of what was going on and explaining everything to me in a way that a real estate “dummy” like me could understand. Everything was going wonderfully and we were set to close the deal when I got the call. It was from the closing company who had been researching the title. They were calling to confirm a time for closing and at the time informed there was an old lien on the title that had to be paid off before closing. I was devastated. I was selling my house in order to move, my car was a piece of junk and we were broke because at the time my husband was living in Memphis and I was still here so we were maintaining two households. I reluctantly contacted Mr. Ferguson and told him what was going on, fully expecting Fifth Corner Group to back out of the deal and put me back at square one. To my very pleasant surprise, he didn’t flinch...here I am as distraught as can bethinking there was no way out and Brian Ferguson very calmly proceeded to explain other options that were available to me. I was once again stunned by the level of service Fifth Corner Group provides. As if nothing had gone wrong, he proceeded in explaining all the other options in detail and somehow managed to make me feel like it wasn’t the end of the world. We came to a new agreement in no time and Fifth Corner never missed a beat. Once again, with our new arrangements, they did everything. On the night this problem came up, Mr. Ferguson was still sending me emails after one in the morning…now that’s dedication. No 9 to 5 here, they do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. Everything was going great UNTIL I found out that the place in Memphis wouldn’t be ready. Now; I’ve sold my house and my husband’s got a one bedroom apartment in TN, hardly big enough for him, me, our daughter, our three HUGE dogs and our cat. Great, now I’m going to be homeless I’m thinking! Once again my heroes come through...I contacted Fifth Corner Group and was assured that I could stay here as long as needed. Once again, they saved the day. Still, three months later, I am in contact with Mr. Ferguson every day. Fifth Corner Group doesn’t treat people in that impersonal manner that you get from a lot of companies; they truly become your friends! They explain everything clearly as many times as you need and NEVER make you feel like an idiot. And sometimes I still get those late night emails letting me know me know that the people at Fifth Corner Group work WAY TO HARD! They just don’t stop because its “quitting time”, if there’s still work to be done or something to handle or if someone (like me) just to be assured that everything’s going okay, they are there. So, I couldn’t be happier…I got a great price for my house, I still didn’t have to make any repairs, I didn’t have to pay any closing fees or anything at all. I didn’t have to do anything other than sign my name a few times and mail a contract back to their office…it’s truly the easiest thing I’ve ever done. To top it all off, they have a ton of options for you to choose from and there is one that will work for everyone! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Fifth Corner Group and if any time in the future I have any similar needs, they will certainly be my first contact! I would recommend Fifth Corner Group to ANYONE looking to sell a home. There’s no one better out there. There’s no reason to go to anyone else because you won’t find anyone better to handle the sale than these guys, they are the best! If they can help someone like me who had one disaster after another lately, they can help anyone! Thank you to Brian, Melissa, Katrina…THANK YOU FIFTH CORNER GROUP. Without you I couldn’t have done any of the things I needed to do to get my life back on track.
